At its local assembly plant in Salching, Boysen became the first company in the world to produce complete exhaust systems just-in-sequence - a logistical sensation at the time. The first customer was the BMW Dingolfing plant in 1994. Because of additional customer orders, the plant was expanded in 1996 and 2003. Considering the increasing variety of exhaust systems, the plant was fundamentally restructured in 2017. In this context, among other things, a new high bay was built, so that the bulk of manufactured exhaust systems can be stored temporarily and delivered just-in-sequence to the customers.
