Committed to the environment:

The Friedrich and Elisabeth Boysen Foundation

Since 1996, the Friedrich and Elisabeth Boysen Foundation has been supporting academic research in the field of environmental technology with an annual subsidy amount of approximately one million Euro. The foundation also awards prizes for outstanding student papers, dissertations and doctoral theses in the field of environmental technology and environmental protection at the University of Stuttgart, Dresden TU and the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT).

In July 2012, the interdisciplinary "Boysen / Dresden TU postgraduate research group for sustainable energy systems" was officially launched at Dresden Technical University. The research group provides the basis for collaborative work by ten doctoral candidates from different disciplines.
